Celebrate the coming of Christ all December long with our Advent kits! Choose from devotional book, Advent calendar, ornament craft, star gazing party, star diffraction glasses, and Bethlehem soup! All materials are FREE and will be available after worship starting Sunday, November 16.

Here at Trinity United Methodist Church, we have many traditions. One of those is the Baskets of Love Silent Auction. This year the proceeds will be donated toward the cost of our new sanctuary roof. There is a minimum raise of $3 when you are bidding on a basket. Baskets will be displayed from December 6th to 11 AM on December 14th. Basket donations are to be delivered to the church by 4:30 PM on Dec. 4th. We have been blessed through the years with a huge variety of baskets for browsing. Please consider building a basket to share and then come to bid and take home a treasure.

Our 34th Live Nativity and Soup Supper will be December 7th at Fonner Park in Grand Island from 5 – 7 PM with chili & chicken noodle soups ending at 6:30 PM. This is a free-will fundraiser event that will be going to food pantries. This is a collaboration with both United Methodist churches in Grand Island, NE. Trinity and First Faith.

On December 13-14, the Geminids Meteor Shower will be visible in the night sky. Join us for this spectacular sight, followed by Christmas goodies and some caroling around the neighborhood.

Children and youth will present “The Christmas Star” during worship. Parents, please contact Christina at 308.382.1952 if your child(ren) are interested. Non-church members are welcome to participate and attend. After worship we will host a birthday party for Jesus.
