MISSION OPPORTUNITIES ::

The Trustees have started the Adopt-A-Room Project to renovate the Sunday School and Preschool rooms. We will be installing new windows and flooring, and painting the walls and ceiling. We’d also like new cupboards in each room. Contact a Trustees member or the office if you or a group are interested in adopting a room. Thank you for your support of our children and youth!

This month, we will be collecting coffee, sugar, toilet paper, paper towels and Pinesol for the men’s shelter at the Salvation Army. Your donations can be left in the church office. Thank you!

BASKETS OF LOVE SILENT AUCTION ::

It’s time to start planning the Baskets of Love fundraiser! You are invited to contribute a theme basket for the silent auction beginning Saturday evening, Dec. 2, continuing throughout the week and ending at 11:00 a.m. on Dec. 10. Baskets of all sizes and values are needed. Including handmade items, and gently used or recycled items is appropriate and encouraged.

Please consider participating in this fun and important event. Proceeds help replenish the UM4GI HIV AIDS Emergency Fund maintained by Trinity UMC with support from First-Faith UMC. The caseworkers of the regional Nebraska AIDS Project access funds for events to educate the public about HIV AIDS and the importance of testing, and to help clients in need. This year, individuals living with HIV and their families have been assisted with needs such as medical expenses, food/necessities, and transportation to jobs and appointments. Through receiving, they are blessed. Through giving, we are blessed.

Baskets can be brought to the Gathering Place Nov. 26-30.  If you have questions, call LeEllen Haynes at 384-6494.
